Welcome Button CroppedWelcome!  I am hoping you are as obsessed with pictures as I am.  My family photos are definitely my most treasured possessions, so I am always interested in new ways to display them.  I hope you are too, because that’s where Mixbook.com comes in handy.

Photo Books

My favorite products are Photo Books like this one.  I can’t even tell you how many of these I have made over the years, but they are truly amazing and they make wonderful gifts.

As you can see, this isn’t something like your average boring Scrapbook, these are legitimate works of art with your family as the star of the show by featuring your special memories.  Even if you don’t have any scrapbooking talent or experience, you can easily create a fabulous photobook like this.  They have any number of templates that you can just drop-in your photos and add text, graphic elements, and color accents quickly and easily.

I just realized – it’s sort of like having your own family yearbook.  And you can make them up in any color scheme or style you want.  I think the best thing is that you can easily order multiple copies for other people.  You could do a whole year of school or vacation photos with your kids, then make copies for both sets of grandparents plus aunts and uncles – Christmas gifts – DONE!

I did one for my son’s Jamboree Troop.  We were able to affordably create copies for the whole Troop as a keepsake from their 2013 Scout Jamboree.  We had some teens visiting from Ireland, so I made a set of books for them and their parents for keepsakes of their time in the US.  I made one for my sister of all her grandkids and was able to order copies for her three kids as well.  I’ve also done several featuring our cruises and other vacations so I can savor those memories whenever I want.

I’m not kidding – these things are BRILLIANT!

Invitations

But that’s not all you can do at Mixbook.com.  My son graduated High School earlier this month.  Well, I was not about to pay the ridiculous prices for the BORING graduation announcements they offer through the school.  Instead, I opted for more personalized graduation invitations like these ones because I wanted me son’s unique personality to shine through.

I’ve also seen some darling baby announcement, birthday invitations, even wedding invitations done up in these unique and very personal styles by Mixbook.com.

Canvas Prints

Another thing I LOVE is turning my photos or even my scrapbook pages into canvas prints for my walls.

Here are my two favorite photos from my son’s wedding two years ago.  The top one I made into an 18 X 20 canvas prints as a Christmas gift for the happy couple.

Matt's Wedding

The second one is a canvas prints of my three boys that is hanging in my hallway.  They clean up pretty nice, don’t they?

So, what about you?  I’m betting you have a boatload of terrific photos like these either sitting in a shoebox, or sitting on your phone or computer hard drive.  Why don’t you take a minute and come up with a couple of favorites that you could turn into some real works of art to adorn your walls?  Trust me, it’s EASY and they come out beautifully.  You’ll get tons of compliments on them, I promise.
