Gift Guide for the Nerd You Love

I had SO much fun putting together this list of gift items for your nerd friends and relatives. I’m quite the nerd myself, so I had a blast going through to pick out my favorite items. I think most of us have a nerd or a geek or two on our gift list and it’s sometimes hard to know what is going to please them most. Hopefully, I am able to provide a few fun suggestions to steer you in the right direction.

Game of Thrones Coasters

Game of Thrones is HUGE these days and these coasters are really fun. My favorite is the favorite sayings of Hodor. Your friends will get a great kick out of them. These aren’t actually available as a complete set – each is a separate item, available as a single coaster or a set of four, but I would pick one of each to make a set like this.

Sherlock/Doctor Who Mousepad

This mousepad is SO fun. It shows the unlikely occurrence of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Who. This is going to be a fun and expected gift from fans of both genres.

Game of Toys Onesie

Whenever I go to ComicCon, which is a couple of times a year, I always see lots of babies in cute outfits like this. And I get a kick out of this fun parody of Game of Thrones.

Minecraft Youth Tees

When I saw these items on the best seller list, I immediately thought of my two grandsons ages 12 and 14. They are completely obsessed with Minecraft and they would absolutely LOVE to have one of these Minecraft Shirts.

Star Wars/Firefly Pillow

This is a unique item – a pillow that highlights the Star Wars genre with the Firefly universe. Chewbacca and Kaylee are two of the best starship mechanics in the universe – teamed up, the two of them would be unbeatable! This would make an unexpected gift for the nerd in your family.

I Aim to Misbehave Onesie

I thought this was adorable! If you are a true Firefly fan, or if you know one, you will recognize this saying from the show. Your child or grandchild will get lots of attention in this cute onesie, I promise you!

Snow Wars/Star Wars Youth Tee

I am a huge fan of Calvin and Hobbes. Combining them with a Star Wars theme is a stroke of genius! Your kids and grandkids will LOVE wearing this Snow Wars shirt to school to show all their friends.

Han Solo/Malcolm Reynolds Shirt

Another great mashup item. I never really noticed it, but Han Solo and Malcolm Reynolds from Firefly have very similar personalities. I’m sure they would have been great friends and possibly even partners in crime. They are memorialized on this unique shirt. Would make a great gift for the Firefly or Star Wars fan.

Doctor Who – 10th Doctors Favorite Sayings Shirt

I thought it was hilarious because I was actually watching a Doctor Who 10th Doctor episode while I was putting this post together. If your friend or loved one is any kind of a Doctor Who fan, they will recognize these famous sayings from the show immediately. This design is available in a T-shirt, sweatshirt, mousepad, and I think a phone case.

Doctor Who 11th Doctor Famous Sayings Shirt

Can’t have the 10th Doctor and not include the 11th Doctor. Everyone has their favorite Doctor. Personally, the 9th Doctor (Eccleston) is my most favorite, but the 11th (Matt Smith) is a close second. 10th – I never could get the Barty Crouch image out of my mind. Capaldi – well, he’s starting to grow on me.

Anyway, this 11th Doctor Who design is available in several different t-shirt and sweatshirt designs and also as a mousepad. Definitely a great gift for your favorite nerd or geek.
